- We'll email your responses (without your contact info) to a pool of at least 100 selected designers, chosen from our 20,000 designer members.
- Up to 4 designers select your project and receive your contact information to call or email you their rates and background information.
- You choose a designer.
Who are the designers?
Design Advisors are selected from our membership base. Our designers offer a wide range of styles, and they include both very experienced designers
regularly published in well-regarded magazines such as Elle Decor and Architectural Digest, and designers with only a few years of experience. We
believe there is a designer for every project, and our breadth of choice will enable you to be matched with someone who suits your style and budget.

No problem. Just let us know and we'll run a match again. Email us at connect@decorati.com anytime.
What is the difference between face-to-face and E-Decorating projects?
You can tell us you require a face-to-face consultation with a designer, and we will match you with designers in your area. We recommend this
approach for full-scale projects. However, for small design projects and quick advice, many people have been satisfied with E-Decorating services.
E-Decorating is a new trend where the designer completes a project over the phone or email, saving you time and money, and in many cases enables
you to work with a designer who may otherwise be beyond your reach. Designers can advise on paint colors, floor plans, and what to buy without
ever setting foot in your home, especially if you provide digital photos and measurements. Decorati operates the biggest network of designers
actively E-Decorating. If E-Decorating may work for your project, we suggest you select that option as you will be matched with more designers
who rank higher in other dimensions important to you (other than location).
How should I complete the inquiry form?
Please fill out the inquiry form with as much information as possible. The more information we have, the better we can match you with potential designers.
Variables such as description, images, and budget help us help you find appropriate, quality matches, and likewise increase the chance that you will spark
the interest of our busy professional designer members. Think of this like a dating service - the more effort you put in to describe what you are looking
for the more likely you are to end up with what you want.
Should I respond to all the designers that contact me (up to four)?
Yes. We ask you to respond to all the designers who contact you regarding the project within seven (7) days, even if it is to set up a time to talk or to politely
tell them that you have hired another designer. Our designers are successful, well-respected professionals who have carefully reviewed and selected your project.
What types of projects can I submit an inquiry for?
You can submit an inquiry for any type of design project for which you want to pay for professional assistance. We see submissions for projects as small as choosing
paint colors and as big as designing full homes. The more completely you describe your project, the more likely you are to get matched well. However, please only
submit inquiries for projects for which you intend to hire a professional in the near future. Up to 100 of our designers will carefully review your project and the
four final designers will expect to connect with you by phone or email within seven (7) days.
