The depth created in so many aspects of the room from the flooring to the wall treatments and the ceiling textures all add such drama, yet it is not "in your face" because of the subtle colors and simple lines.

This photograph displays the modern style through its many layers. As a foundation, the design may seem like just a simple play with symmetry and geometry, but there is a lot of discipline in the work that makes it able to produce something so "clear". It is evident in this space that luxury is not about showing what is bigger and better on the surface level. It is about having the people experience the space as being luxurious... the lighting, textures, sounds, etc. In this way, it is a "quiet luxury".

This is it. The epitome of modern understated luxury. The tight color palette keeps the room from feeling chaotic and the incredible textures and geometry used in repetition exude peaceful luxury.

Furniture and interior architecture play in a quiet harmony in this room. Simple lines and the use of only one colour in its different shades create a harmony that is very soothing for the eye. Not one furniture piece is too many yet it feels balanced.

i like the change here from the old lobby of morgans.here you have a nice balance of modern and classical elements that exudes luxe.the flooring is escheresque and gives a whimisical feel to a rather reserved and neutral color.the feeling is of the entry to a magnificent home.

This room evokes quiet luxury through the subtle translation of very traditional features in modern forms: the essence of parquet floors, the nod to paneled walls and the modern Palladian window without mullions. The club chairs are not old world and in leather, rather in modern design with a woven upholstery. Further, it speaks modernity through its monochromatic pallet hinting at a deco thought. A modern trip through the classics! Wonderful.

I love the scale of the architecture of the room. The ceiling shadowy shapes and the floor shapes, plus the rectangles and curve of the window all combine to make a smashingly simple and elegant space. Bobbi Collins
