France Circa 1940s. Spectacular rare French Art Deco period macassar ebony fire surround, of sleek angular form with three open shelf compartments to either side, gilt-brass line accents. Gorgeous polished finish. Small veneer losses to top corners have been beautifully repaired since photographs were taken. Dealer: Rue de Grenelle.
