Settee from a larger set probably commissioned by the Crown, with lovely carving, exposed back rails and turned legs. Attributed to Pierre Antoine Bellange. France c. 1821. Mahogany and beechwood. Fully restored and reupholstered in traditional French horsehair by Louvre trained restorer. Center leg replaced. Dealer: Lear's.
