The wrought iron is heated, beaten and twisted by the sure hands of Franco, the Italian blacksmith, in his dimly lit, smoky workshop until it succumbs and is transformed into the Cellini Bed frame. It is then paired with the magnificent crown headboard; chiseled by the equally skilled hands of the Italian carver, Stefano. Together they create a bed fit for the Tuscan villa of a count and his countess.
