Tric-trac table in walnut veneer with a chest checker top. When returned, the top is a green felt surface used for card games and when removed it reveals a Jacquet game plate. The table, supported by fluted leg, opens with one drawer on each side.

Tric-trac tables were popular game tables during King Louis XVI (1760-1789) reign. This table was mostly used to play Jacquet, the ancestor of backgammon. Rules and game pieces are provided with the table.

This game table is extremely rare and is often found in museums or in private collections. The game tables are amazing by the quality of their work and their beauty will astound anyone.
