The inspiration for the Janus Chair was a sorry site when we found it in London. A front leg had been broken off and lost, but its beautiful oval back and simple lines hadn’t lost their charm. We lovingly re-fabricated it. Named for the antique dealer who sold it to us, it’s the perfect chair for gathering in an 18th C salon for chamber music or sitting at a rustic kitchen table to eat ham and cheese sandwiches.
