The Merkid is made of treated crushed silk, resistant to mold and fire, laid on a metal structure. Special resin coating is available on request, highly recommended for pieces intended for public places. This coating does not change the look of the fabric, but rather strengthens the texture.

Wattage: 220 V Model: Cool or warm white, compact fluorescent EL bulb; 1 x E27 socket, 23W Max. UL approved. 110 V Model: Cool or warm white, compact fluorescent EL bulbs, 1 x E26 socket, 25W Max. UL approved. It is important to be consistent and use all light bulbs of the same color, especially when using compact fluorescent bulbs, the color of the bulb will define the color of the silk as well. We recommend the use of warm white bulbs for the creation of intimate, natural atmosphere, or cool white, for a more Spartan contemporary appeal.
