Bio
Selena Rodriguez, an allied member of ASID, has 9 years of experience in the Interior Design field. She graduated from Brooks College in 2000 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design. Selena was immediately hired through internship as a Junior Project Designer at Deanna Robinson Interiors, Inc. where she assisted lead designers in high-end residential estates throughout California. She had the pleasure to directly assist Deanna Robinson in a very successful and prominent 17,000 square foot estate which was publically acclaimed numerous times. In 2002, Selena brought her talents to Creative Design Consultants, LLC as a Project Designer in the Residential Division. The firm specialized in Residential and Commercial Design and was named the nation’s #1 residential firm by Interior Design Magazine several years in row during her years of service. She had the opportunity to travel frequently throughout the United States for national projects. In 2005 Selena was promoted to Project Manager providing guidance and inspiration to a team of four residential Project Designers. Working directly with the Director of Design and Client, Selena created comfortable, stylish and economical Interiors demonstrating frequent successful projects. Selena’s work has been published in Homes and Courtyards by Bassenian Lagoni , Professional Builder magazine, and Builder magazine. Her work has also won National Awards, A Gold Nugget Award, An Aurora Award, and MAME awards to name a few. In 2008 Selena transitioned to the commercial division as Senior Project Designer where she worked on high profile international projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. She assisted the Director of Design and Project Manager on influential Multi-Family projects; one being located directly adjacent to the world’s tallest building the Burj Dubai. Selena's most recent and notable opportunities have included an internship at the ultimate trendsetter and highly modern design studio, Kelly Wearstler where she assists in high-end celebrity homes and prominent boutique hotels.
