Spurred on by an entrepreneurial spirit, these two best friends since childhood founded Avignon Specialty & Contract Wallcoverings.. It all came about in 1992 when a brain-storming session between Caryn Outwater and Ariane Stein resulted in them both deciding to ditch their respective careers to pursue their true passion, designing gorgeous wallcoverings! Their success has resulted in national licensing contracts as well as creating coverings for some of the worlds most talented designers and discriminating clients.
